Had a great time fishing with Captain Keith, my son and buddies. Captain Keith put us on 'em even when the prospect looked grim. We all limited out and even caught a 29" big boy. Had a blast and looking forward to the next trip.

Hot day of fishing...Capt Keith put us on the fish even when it looked like the temp and the tides were going to get the best of us. 4 limits and 1 oversized red. Had a great time. Best guided trip I've ever had. I'm making plans to come back in the fall.

If you want to have the time of your life fishing on Matagorda Bay, get your ass down to Captain Keith Phillips' place. My first of many times to come was 2 days ago. Caught our limit of reds, some trout and drum, then chased gar and bull reds in the afternoon. What a blast!!! Awesome boat run by a knowledgable captain who is great fun to spend a day with. Lodging is first rate. When was the last time a fishing guide offered you a FREE place to sleep the nite before fishing??? If you pass up this fishing trip you are missing out, nuff said.

Jim, Curtis, Bill and I really enjoyed our fishing trip with you. In spite of the arrival of the front several hours earlier than predicted which brought the lightning and rain, you put us in spots where we were able to catch our limit. I would like to thank Captain Keith for two weekends of wonderful fishing. The trips were fun and I actually caught fish in salt water for the first time (normally at home I just feed the crabs). Thank you for the many first, my first reds, trout, rays and especially thanks for my first shark.

I first fished with Captain Keith last October and had a great time fishing. We fished Matagorda Bay and caught our limit of redfish. I enjoyed it so much; I booked a trip in May. I was not disappointed. With the wind blowing 30 mph, we went to a different location. Same result, we caught our limit. I’m booking another trip with Captain Keith later this year.

In the last three weeks we have booked two trips with "CAPTAIN KEITH". On our first trip we fished for two days and had our limit both days .We had such a great trip we waited a week and booked for another four days.The weather was'nt great but we still managed to catch fish and get our limit.We even managed to bring home three trophy fish .It was a good time and great family memories,thanks to Keith and all the people at the DRUM HOUSE.

We booked a trip with Captain Keith and had an excellent time. Many redfish were put in the boat and even a few over sized that we had to tag. It could not have been any better. All gear was top notch and the service was the best I had ever seen. All we had to do was reel them big boys in. Captain Keith even cleaned our fish when we got back to the dock. We will be going back not only for another fishing trip but to hang out in the "drum house". If you don't know what the "drum house" is, then you will have to see for yourself.
